Clinical PharmacologyEach unit in the Medical School is assigned a clinical pharmacologist who holds a pharmacology (Pharm.D.) degree as well as postgraduate training and usually additional years of fellowship training in pharmacology or pharmacotherapy research. These pharmacologists make rounds with the docent teams, teaching patient-oriented pharmacology at the bedside. The Pharm.D. helps students learn to select, utilize and administer drugs safely and effectively with consideration of cost-effective utilization. Personnel: | |
