The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at UMKC provides surgical care and treatment of the oral and facial region.
Patient services provided include:
- simple and complex tooth extraction utilizing local anesthesia, IV sedation or general anesthesia
- management of oral and facial infections
- treatment of facial fractures
- repair of facial lacerations
- management of TMJ disorders
- management of oral and facial lesions and tumors
- facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
- management of facial deformities of both soft tissue and bone
- limited orthodontic management
- limited prosthodontic treatment
