to 1977 graduate, Gene LeSage, M.D.

Gene D. LeSage, M.D., '77, a distinguished researcher specializing in gastroenterology and chairman of the department of medicine at East Tennessee State University's James H. Quillen College of Medicine, was honored on May 29 as the UMKC School of Medicine's 2009 E. Grey Dimond, M.D., Take Wing Award winner.

SOM Sponsors Hospital Hill 5K Run
More than 1,150 runners lined up on Grand Boulevard in front of Crown Center just before 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, for the UMKC School of Medicine 5K portion of the 36th Annual Hospital Hill Run. It was the third year in a row that the SOM has served as the title sponsor for the 5K run. >>>
