APPLICATION

The residency program selects the best qualified candidates regardless of race, sex, creed, color, national origin, handicap, or age, as required by law. The selection process begins with a review of the applicant's completed file that contains:

Completed application form (The department only accepts applications through ERAS).
Personal statement
Letter of reference from Dean of the candidate's medical school
Letter from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Chairman where rotation or elective was completed
Letter from two faculty members who have special knowledge of the candidate
Medical School transcript
National Boards Part I and II or COMLEX scores

Interviews are by invitation and are held November through February. It is important to submit all of the documentation listed above as early as possible.
